Fun, Speed and Safety   ZOOM 8 opens a new chapter in dinghy sailing.
As safe for the beginners as it is challenging for the experienced cracks, it fulfils every youngsters dream.

One of the main aims in constructing the ZOOM 8 was from the very beginning to give the sailor a proper racer. This dinghy has all the necessary trimming equipment found on any bigger yacht. Switching over to another boat will be easy and straightforward.

ZOOM 8 is easy to rig and handle without prior experience in sailing, and as such it is the perfect tool for anybody to learn how to sail in a single-handed dinghy. The beam and buoyancy of the ZOOM 8 also make double-handed sailing possible, without the loss of its good sailing abilities. The double-skin hull, with built-in 150-litre buoyancy bags, makes the dinghy unsinkable

If capsized, ZOOM 8 remains floating on its side, with the cockpit dry. The mast buoyancy does not permit the dinghy to turtle on its own and the high coamings prevent water from entering into the cockpit. These features guarantee more safety compared with other dinghies of the same size

With its 38 kg hull weight ZOOM 8 travels easily on the roof rack, and can even be stored standing on its transom. A custom designed beach trolley and special hull colours are optional. The sail is produced by a licensed sail maker.

Strict One-Type-Class ZOOM 8 is the first dinghy of its size, which fulfils ISAF demands for a Strict One Design Class. It is always delivered completely equipped and ready for racing. As no changes are allowed, all sailors will have an equal chance on the course.
